Delivery 
 
Go Carpets is based in Northern Ireland, due to logistic costs we use a courier service for deliveries in Great Britain, the couriers maximum package length capability is 2.7m. We are unable to deliver items larger than this in Great Britain. For customers in Northern Ireland we can deliver and fit with no size restrictions. For customers in Southern Ireland delivery can be arranged with no size restrictions but the cost will vary depending on the area. 
 
Delivery time scale - Products from stock will usually be dispatched on the day after purchase using a 48hr courier service or it can be delivered on your request Monday - Friday. On products not from stock, delivery will depend on the range of carpet as some of our suppliers are based outside the UK. If there is a stock problem and lead time is likely to be longer than this we will contact you with the estimated date of delivery if the date does not suit, you will be entitled to a full refund. Over holiday times delivery time scale may vary.  
 
Deliveries are made to your doorstep or in the case of multi-storey building to the buildings doorstep. Due to insurance guides the driver is not responsible for taking goods into your home. At time of delivery we recommend you have the needed help to get the goods into your home. For larger goods you may need more than one person to assist when accepting delivery. We will inform you of the estimated weight of any goods that we think will need more than one person so you can make arrangements. If you are unable to take delivery on the agreed day we will require 24hr notice to rearrange, this may incur a second delivery charge if 24hr notice if not given. Please note that our courier has a couple of different solutions if you are not in to receive your delivery:  
DELIVER TO NEIGHBOUR option means that if they arrive at your address and find no-one is there they will call to the neighbour's house to deliver the parcel, on accepting the delivery the neighbour will have to sign the driver's scanner and their address will be recorded and a card will be put through your door to tell you where your parcel has been left. 
LEAVE IN A SAFE PLACE option can be requested where the driver will leave the parcel at a safe place around your home, the location will be photographed and recorded by the driver. 
 
At the time of delivery you should check for external damage before signing for the goods if there is any sign of damage it must be noted on the drivers paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing goods can be accepted after the driver has left the delivery address. We do our best at using the best courier services however some goods are delivered direct from the manufacturer and as such we have no jurisdiction over the method of delivery. 
 
Any claims for damaged goods must be made within 7 days of receipt of goods. Goods refused on delivery that are found to be undamaged on return to us will result in the return delivery charge where applicable. 
 
No liability can be accepted for costs caused by late deliveries or for any other reason. Therefore we advise against booking installers until goods have been received and checked. 
 
For collection of damaged goods it will be in a similar timescale of deliveries, usually 15-20 working days of us being made aware of any issues. We will not accept the charging of storage by customers of goods to us until collection. 
 
Refunds will be made to the customer after we have taken delivery/collection and the goods have been inspected and the damage verified.
